“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” Virginia Woolf (1882-1941) British novelist and essayist. Here is my guide to Sunday Lunch in London.

Sunday lunch in London at Scoff and Banter

Alternative to a traditional Sunday Roast

Some people like a traditional roast dinner on a Sunday, however, as I love seafood so much, the Scoff and Banter menu caught my eye. The contemporary British cuisine made me feel like I was having lunch at home cooked by a Michelin starred chef.

The view from Sunday lunch in London

Where is Scoff and Banter?

The Canary Wharf location has a stunning view over the river, right opposite the O2 arena. It is a very stylish restaurant, with an intimate feel at the same time. The perfect place for a romantic lunch for two, I went here with my boyfriend and we sat for a few hours we had such a great time!

Scoff and Banter – Kensington

Then the next day, as if all this food wasn’t enough, we tried out the Scoff and Banter in Kensington.  I’m afraid this time the food didn’t last long enough for photos! This location is a traditional mansion style building right by Gloucester Road station. The waiters were so welcoming I’ve never had such amazing hospitality before!

If you want to get out of the city during your trip to the UK – I would recommend heading to the coast in Dorset! So many walks to do here and lots of lovely beaches too.
